The Kitchen is up for digital innovation
The music industry, the travel industry and the media industry were all hit by a digital disruption. And the kitchen is next, says independent Senior Business Advisor Lars Iversen, working for Electrolux. “The kitchen is definitely up for it.”
Since July 2012, Lars works for Electrolux ́s Global Market Driven Innovation division based in Stockholm, Sweden. During the Mobile Convention Iverson will speak about the so called white spaces in digital innovation.
In the near future the white space in digital innovation for kitchens will be filled up. In the mean time, the main questions will be: What do you want your kitchen to do for you in the future?
Iverson predicts someone will own the digital infrastructure or new ecosystem of the new kitchen. It might not be Jamie Oliver or Apple or Google, but in the end someone will. Iversen: “As long as the platform is as powerful as the digital bridge it builds to the customer.”
